Spring Into Art
For our latest contest, Citra Solv challenges our Citra Artists to create an original work of art that conveys this sublime season of splendor in the grass, lilting songs, and sweet smells in the air.
Grand Prize: $150 cash
Second Place: $75 gift card
3 Runners Up: $ 25 gift card
Prizes will be awarded in two categories: to professional artists, and non-professional. ***
*** For purposes of this contest, an "amateur" artist will be defined as "someone who does not derive a steady income from, or teach, art." ***

But before we get going, let's review the rules:
When creating a Citra Solv Collage (a multiple-layered artwork), one of the following elements must be included: altering National Geographic paper with Citra Solv; or using Citra Solv for photo image transfers.
Entries should be sent via email as an attachment in jpeg form to CitraArtContest@comcast.net.
Please put "Spring Into Art" in the subject line and indicate which category you wish to be placed in (amateur or pro).
All entries must be received by midnight EST on April 16, 2012. Winners will be announced via Facebook on April 23, 2012.
Only those 18 and older may enter.
Prizes mailed exclusively within continental United States.
Original artwork submitted to the Citra Solv "Spring Into Art" Contest may appear online on Facebook and on the Citra Solv website.

In addition to running contests, Citra Solv is pleased to offer an Artists Gallery on behalf of our artists, for the purposes of featuring and promoting their work.
Citra Solv welcomes ideas, samples and submissions from all our Citra Artists, whether a first-timer or seasoned professional.
